From April 13 to 16, the Colorado Family Church community was honored to be able to welcome Mrs. Gil Ja Sa Eu and her small entourage. Mrs. Eu is one of the founding members of the Unification Church, now known as the Family Federation. She joined in 1955, and was one of the students who was expelled from the prestigious Ewha Women's University for practicing her faith. Mrs. Eu, at her advanced age, felt called to tour America and share her testimony and her newly completed book, "Danbury and American Providence." She was also accompanied by her son and assistant.

During her time here, Mrs. Eu had the opportunity to share with the community on Saturday evening. She shared about why she joined the movement and what things were like at that time, as well as her Divine Principle study guides and lecturing methods that allow anyone to become a teacher. At the end, people could purchase some of her booklets and get them personally signed by Mrs. Eu.

During the rest of her visit, Mrs. Eu was able to go up into the Rocky Mountains to get out in nature, see some wildlife, and see beautiful views of the mountains from close up. We also went to visit the Buffalo Bill Museum. It was the first time for everyone there to visit the museum, and it was really interesting to learn about this man who was loved by so many people, and had done so much during his lifetime to help many people, including the Native Americans.

Another stop was the History Colorado Center, a beautiful museum in Downtown Denver dedicated to the history of the state. One particular exhibit that was interesting to Mrs. Eu was about the Japanese Internment Camp that existed in Colorado and learning about the people who ended up going there. Mrs. Eu grew up in Korea during the time it was under Japanese occupation. It was also interesting to learn about the history of the state and American history in general.

Overall, we felt very graced by Mrs. Eu's visit. It is probably the last time that she will be able to go on tour like this, and many of the early founding Unificationists are getting to be advanced in the years and will not be with us for that much longer. It was all the more reason to appreciate every moment of her visit. Thank you Mrs. Eu!
