We understand that, after being at our current building for almost 40 years, it would be hard to move on to something else. There are also definite positive points about our current building. However, the limitations are too many to ignore for our growing community. Even if we were to build onto our building, it won't address issues with parking, accessibility, crime in the neighborhood, and being in a neighborhood where families would want to live nearby. 

It's also important to point out that adding onto our current building would be incredibly expensive and maybe even impossible given that the city of Denver has very strict building codes, much more so that the rest of the state. It took us two years just to install solar panels onto the church, most of which was the permitting and red tape process with the city. The idea of spending the time and money to expand our current building in these circumstances, especially considering that it doesn't resolve many of the other issues mentioned earlier, makes the possibility out of reach.
