Saying Goodbye to Our Brother and Friend Tony Christian

Tony was born to Leroy and Rosa Christian on February 4th, 1965 in Richmond, Virginia.

At age 13, Tony left home to work for a traveling circus, eventually ending up in California. There, Tony ran a grocery store while enrolled in Santa Monica College to become a kindergarten teacher. Tony always had a big heart for children and wanted to help them succeed.

5th Annual Spring Refresh

The city of Denver delayed its closing of the winter season as April ended with cloudy skies and 40 degree weather. Fortunately for the Colorado Family Church, the sun shone bright on time for the 5th annual Spring Refresh on Saturday, May 4th. This time, the sun did not return behind the clouds. The day was fun-filled with inflatable toys for the children, indoor and outdoor projects around the church, and delicious food.

Fourth Annual Spring Refresh

On Saturday, May 26, friends, neighbors, and members of the Colorado Family Church came together to celebrate the 4th annual Spring Refresh. The Spring Refresh is a Spring festival with a service component. Everyone, including children, work together to complete projects to beautify and improve the church and the surrounding area. There is also a lot of fun, music, and great food!

Mrs. Gil Ja Sa Eu Visits Colorado

From April 13 to 16, the Colorado Family Church community was honored to be able to welcome Mrs. Gil Ja Sa Eu and her small entourage. Mrs. Eu is one of the founding members of the Unification Church, now known as the Family Federation. She joined in 1955, and was one of the students who was expelled from the prestigious Ewha Women's University for practicing her faith. Mrs. Eu, at her advanced age, felt called to tour America and share her testimony and her newly completed book, "Danbury and American Providence." She was also accompanied by her son and assistant.
