Colorado Welcomes New National President for 3-Year Anniversary Celebration

Last weekend, the Colorado Family Church was blessed with the opportunity to receive a visit from our new national church president Rev. Richard Buessing, together with his wife Marjorie, on the occasion of the pastors’ three-year anniversary celebration. It was a jam-packed couple of days, where we had the opportunity to come together for a picnic at the beautiful Chatfield State Park, hear a special report covering the past 3 years under the current pastors, and also hear a moving and inspiring message from our national president.

Inter-Generational Brunch Hosted by the Colorado Family Church Youth Ministry

Colorado Family Church's Youth Ministry held a fun Inter-Generational Brunch on Saturday, June 10, 2017. The purpose was to bring all generations together to celebrate each other and True Parents, our founders.

Yongil Fleisher, the Colorado Family Church's Youth Minister, began brunch with an opening prayer. He explained the brunch's purpose: Uniting Unificationists, regardless of age. Implementing the church growth strategy of Pastors Michael and Adonia Hentrich: making a happy, loving church that everyone wants to attend.

Gratitude for Children this Thanksgiving

This past Thanksgiving at the Colorado Family Church, families gathered together after service for a special treat. Some of the children had worked late into the night and all through the morning to prepare a delicious Thanksgiving feast for the whole community.

David Stein and David Heppell have taken under their wings a group of boys and girls in our community that are generally between the ages of 9 and 13. Last year, as part of a purity and faith course called Il Shim, the group decided that they wanted to cook Thanksgiving lunch for everyone.

Colorado Family Church Welcomes Dr. and Mrs. Balcomb and Celebrates Grand Opening of New Welcome Center

Families at the Colorado Family Church had the golden opportunity to welcome Dr. and Mrs. Balcomb on November 5. The weekend was jam-packed and included a hike to the mountains, a fundraiser for a school in Rwanda by the local Women’s Federation chapter, a community dinner at Golden Corral, Sunday service given by Dr. Balcomb, and the grand opening of our newly renovated Welcome Center and Café. It was truly an exciting weekend for everyone.
